Cindy began CLicKs Photography as a professional photographer in 2003 in the Washington D.C. area photographing bands, events, weddings and families. Since then, it has been my privilege to work with many amazing people, in many of D.C.’s premier venues including: The Kennedy Center; the Strathmore; the Harmon Center for the Arts; the Warner Theater; the Barns at Wolftrap; the Birchmere; the 9:30 Club; Blues Alley; and the State Theatre.
My photographs have been published in the Washington Post, in multiple local newspapers and magazines as well as the Internet Magazines Kynd Music, Glide, Renegade Grinder and Dealer Magazine.
In 2004 I began teaching digital photography at Glen Echo Park’s PhotoWorks as part of the Horizons Summer Program, an arts and education outreach for inner city 7th graders from the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
In 2009 I moved with my family to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, where I am inspired every day.
I am always searching for provocative images that say something REAL about my subjects. I am a photographer that specializes in working with people whether that be one-on-one or documenting a corporate event. I use a wide variety of photographic styles to create unique and intrinsic images for my clients. I work on location and can create my studio anywhere or work as fluidly with the environment as my background. My primary goal in any session is to beautifully represent the true personality of my subject, and to completely satisfy the needs of my client regarding their image.
I shoot all digitally and am a big believer in being green in my business practices, and keep the printed packaging to a minimum. That is why we proudly offer private web galleries for reviewing your proofs as well as the opportunity to purchase your images digitally. It’s convenient for you, cost effective for me and good for the planet.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
